Kourtney Brodnax is an outgoing, poised, enthusiastic and hard working young woman who loves sports, law (or both together), Beyonce and all things tech. She takes pride in her successes and acknowledges her weaknesses while constantly creating new ideas for the future benefit of her community. Originally from Los Angeles but raised in Culver City aka “Silicon Beach”, her parents’ entrepreneurial success in the sports and entertainment industry has given her an edge on business formalities from an early age.
Kourtney attended Whittier College where she was named Female Student Athlete of the Year and Most Impactful Poet. She was also chosen as the Class of 2017’s student commencement speaker and graduated with her B.A. in Whittier Scholars with a specialization in Critical Studies of Media Marketing. Being a creative born in Gen-Z, Kourtney naturally enjoys generating new ways to tell stories to entice target audiences of small businesses. Thus, propelling her start as a freelance social media manager.
Currently, Kourtney is in the process of starting a non profit for girls of color interested in STEM professions. Kourtney believes in paying it forward and aims to create confidence, strengthen self esteem and educate minority females in her community. On days that end in “Y” you can catch Kourtney fumbling through natural hair products, tapping her Nike+ app, asking for an extra scoop of Matcha or geo tagging travel adventures via Snapchat or Instagram.
